2012: Year of Grow Your Own Skin Care Products

This year is going to be an exciting one for us here at Saffron Organic. We love all things horticultural and we want to share this love of flora and fauna with you. As such 2012 will be Saffron Organic's year of Make Your Own Organic Skin Care. We'll be working with a local community garden - Cambridge Road Estate Diggers (CRED) - to grow a variety of plants that can be used in personal care products. Along the way we'll be giving you tips on how to grow your own using organic gardening techniques championed by the Soil Association, explaining the benefits of a variety of plants and why they are used in your organic skin care products, and we'll also be revealing what the big cosmetic companies don't want you to know - all the nasty ingredients that can be found in conventional personal care products and the damage they can have to your health and that of the environment.
